Cold and dry weather is expected in Peshawar and most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday night, Friday and Saturday.
Temperatures are expected to fall during this week due to clear skies and snowfall over the mountains.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.
Under these conditions, cold and dry weather is expected in Peshawar and most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday night, Friday and Saturday. Freezing weather is expected in the northern districts of the province.
Peshawar’s minimum temperature will likely remain between 05°C and 07°C on Friday and between 04°C and 06°C on Saturday.
Meanwhile, cold and dry weather prevailed in Peshawar and most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last 24 hours. Freezing weather prevailed in the northern districts of the province.
Kalam and Dir remained the coldest places in the province, where the temperature dropped 03°C below the freezing point. The minimum temperature in Malam Jabba was recorded at -01°C.
In Peshawar, the minimum temperature was recorded at 06°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 25 per cent.
