ISLAMABAD – Gold prices in Pakistan moved up on Thursday, with rate of 24-karat gold climbing to Rs433,836 per tola after gaining Rs3,600 in a single day.
The rally followed a strong recovery in international bullion prices, where gold rose by $36 per ounce to $4,113, boosting sentiment in the local market after two consecutive sessions of losses. After multiple losses, the price of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs3,600 per tola, taking the domestic rate to Rs433,836. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs3,086, reaching Rs371,944.
