PASSCO fixes target to procure 14 lakh sacks of wheat

Pakistan Agriculture Storage and Services Corporation (PASSCO) have fixed target to procure 14 lakh sacks of wheat from district Hafizabad this year and 19 purchase centres have been setup for this purpose.

This was stated by the Zonal Head PASSCO Mushtaq Ahmad Shahid in a meeting held to review arrangements make for purchasing wheat in the district Hafizabad.

Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Muhammad Asif Raza presided over the meeting. He told that PASSCO would procure wheat on supporting price of Rs.2200/- per 40 kg and empty socks have been provided at all procurement centres while distribution of empty sacks has been started.
