Fool proof security will be provided to the Sikh pilgrims coming to Gurdwara Punja Sahib Hasanabdal in connection with Besakhi Mela commencing on 10th April. DC Attock Muhammad Naeem Sindhu and DPO AATTOCK Rana Shoaib Mahmood said this during a meeting.
The meeting was attended by AC Hasanabdal, DSP Hasanabdal, SHOs, Evacuee Trust Property Board officers, Iesco, Railways and Rescue 1122 officers. During the meeting issues related to security, boarding and messing of the Sikh pilgrims were discussed.
Beside this smooth flow of traffic, uninterrupted provision of power supply availability of stand by generators and other facilities were also discussed and the concerned officers were directed to ensure all the facilities. Besakhi Mela is celebrated every year at Gurdwara Punja Sahib in April and a large number of Sikhs from India, other countries and those living in different areas of Pakistan participate.
