This meeting was co hosted by Ashraf Dahoud, Nomaan Husain, Vaishali Dev, Hachem Domloj, Floyd Wisner, Wajahat Khan, and Mustafa Tameez. Participants included Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee, Mayor of Houston Sylvester Turner, Ambassador Islam Siddiqui, Chairman of ICNA Relief Mohsin Ansari, Human Rights Commissioner SF Hala Hijazi, VP Islamic Relief USA Azhar Azeez, Hafeez Khan as well as other public servants and students.
Earlier Tahir Javed had arranged a fund raiser virtual conference and collected \3.1million for the Biden kamala campaign. At this conference democrat candidate addressed many issues of the Muslim world and pledged for more inclusive America in his presidency.
Contrary to past elections, this time Muslims seem to be more supportive for Democrat candidate due to anti-Muslim sentiment among Trump supporters. Two Muslim women Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar elected to the House of Representatives are also left wing democrats.
More than five hundred thousands Pakistani Americans seem to be working in every walk of life, ie as innovators.
