The 4th Pakistan Travel Mart (PTM) 2025, the country’s largest international travel and tourism expo, opened its doors at the Karachi Expo Centre on Friday. The event was inaugurated by Sindh Minister for Culture, Tourism, Antiquities, and Archives, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, alongside Gholam Hussain Mozaffari, Governor of Khorasan Razavi, Iran. Speaking at the inauguration, Zulfiqar Ali Shah expressed pride in hosting a large-scale and successful edition of PTM 2025.

He emphasized Pakistan’s vast tourism potential and the need for effective promotion. “The Sindh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, is committed to fostering tourism and preserving the province’s rich cultural heritage,” he said.

He visited several exhibition booths, engaging with industry representatives and showing interest in the various tourism products and services on display. Pakistan Travel Mart has established itself as the country’s largest tourism networking event, connecting regional and global stakeholders in the inbound, outbound, and domestic tourism sectors.

Over the years, the event has grown into a key platform for tourism professionals, government representatives, and international investors, fostering partnerships and industry growth. Since its inception, PTM has played a crucial role in reshaping Pakistan’s tourism industry, bringing together businesses through trade exhibitions, business matchmaking, and conferences.

The event serves as a hub for investment opportunities and international tourism collaborations. This year’s event features over 400 exhibitors from 23 countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iran, Turkey, Greece, the UK, Japan, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Bahrain, Qatar, Vietnam, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, and China. Provincial and regional tourism departments from Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan are also showcasing their tourism potential. With the participation of foreign tourism boards, diplomatic missions, travel bloggers, and media influencers, PTM 2025 is set to boost Pakistan’s standing as a key player in global tourism.

Organizers have received overwhelming support from stakeholders, making this edition the largest and most successful in the event’s history.
