Pakistan, Saudi Arabia explore enhanced Cooperation to boost ties

ISLAMABAD – Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki called on Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad to discuss bilateral ties between Islamabad and Riyadh.

Both sides shared views over various areas of cooperation, including education, trade, and investment. Secretary of Education also joined the discussion, providing an update on the upcoming conference of Muslim countries focused on girls’ education in Islamabad.

In a statement, Foreign Office said both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral relations in various fields.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia hold longstanding and robust ties characterized by significant economic, political, and cultural ties. Kingdom is one of Pakistan’s largest trading partners and investors, particularly in sectors such as oil and energy.

Riyadh also pledged massive investments in Pakistan’s infrastructure and economy, highlighting the ongoing evolution and deepening of their bilateral cooperation.
