JI leader dedicates I-Day celebrations to freedom movement of KashmirStaff ReporterJamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi held a vivid flag hoisting ceremony at New MA Jinnah Road, near Idara Noor-e-Haq, featuring internationally acclaimed Delawar Khan, Shadab Baloch and Agha Kaleem, to mark Independence Day Celebrations, here on Monday.
JI Karachi Ameer Engr Hafiz Naeemur Rehman hoisted the flag and delivered the keynote address on the occasion. A large number of citizens, particularly students participated in the short but graceful ceremony.Internationally famed athletes — Delawar Khan, Shadab Baloch, Agha Kaleem — accompanied Naeemur Rehman at the flag hoisting ceremony. Athletes Shadab Baloch and Agha Kaleem walked over 11 kilometers from Alkhidmat hospital, Orangi Town to Idara Noor-e-Haq in order to celebrate the Independence Day.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman in his address propagated the message of hope and courage to the nation and said that Pakistan is destined to become an Islamic Welfare State, however the nation will have to stand for this cause for the sake of upcoming generations.He said that Muslims in the subcontinent had the liberty to perform Namaz or fasting but they struggled for the establishment of Pakistan to exercise the way of life taught by Islam.
Unfortunately, the ruling elite, compromising politicians, generals, bureaucrats and judges, have deprived Pakistan of the purpose of its inception.He said that the nation was paying the price for deviating from the purpose of Pakistan’s inception by the leaders of this country.The JI leader further said that the nation need to get rid of the corrupt ruling class in order to change its prevailing situation. He said that the nature has blessed Pakistan with all type of natural resources as well as the largest proportion of youngsters.
Citing the examples of the three ethylates, he said that despite all the gloomy scenario on the political landscape, the youngsters have been making history. He said that the JI facilitated the three youngsters to participate in international contests.One of them won the tournament by defeating his American counterpart and the two others also brought gold models and brought Pakistan in limelight, showing the bright face of the country, he said.
I am proud of Delawar, I am proud of Agha Kaleem and I am proud of Shadab Baloch, he added.He said that the youth of the country is the hope for the bright future of Pakistan. He said that the Bano Qabil Program of Alkhidmat has been creating difference in the society. He further said that such dedicate on state level can change the fate of the country.
