LAHORE – Pakistan on Wednesday announced their 20-member squad for the upcoming FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2026, scheduled to be held in the Netherlands and Belgium from August 15 to 30.
Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) also unveiled the team’s management staff for the tournament.
The squad included Waqar, Muhammad Abdullah, Sufyan Khan, Abdul Waheed Ashraf, Hannan Shahid and Zakaria Hayat.
Other players named in the squad are Arshad Liaquat, Adil Latif, Ahmed Nadeem, Ghazanfar Ali, Imad Shakeel Butt and Hamaduddin Anjum.
Abdul Rehman, Afraz, Umar Mustafa, Abu Bakar Mahmood, Ali Raza, Abdul Manan and Muhammad Imad have also been included in the World Cup squad.
The management team comprises manager Owais Qarni, head coach Bob Johan Veldhoef, assistant coach Christopher John van Hoven, Adnan Zakir and video analyst Ashraf Sultan.
The FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup will take place across venues in the Netherlands and Belgium from August 15 to 30.
