Pakistan’s Under-18 hockey team made an impressive start at the Asia Cup, defeating China 3-0 in their opening match at Kakamigahara in Japan.
The national team struck early in the first quarter, with Mohammed Usman scoring in the sixth minute to give Pakistan the lead. Just five minutes later, Adeel added a second goal, putting Pakistan ahead 2-0.
No goals were scored in the second and third quarters, but Salman Yaseen sealed the victory in the final quarter, securing a 3-0 win for Pakistan.
Pakistan’s Under-18 team will play their second match of the tournament against Malaysia on Sunday.
