Pak Vision College Yasir Broast Among 52 Sealed In Lahore

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sealed 52 illegal commercial buildings and premises that defaulted on commercialisation fees in LDA-controlled areas and various housing schemes on Monday.

LDA’s Town Planning Wing sealed 10 buildings in Gulshan-e-Ravi, 16 in Gulberg and Faisal Town, and 26 in Allama Iqbal Town and Mustafa Town during operations against illegal commercial use and nonpayment of commercialisation fees.

The sealed premises include Pak Vision College, Yasir Broast, Rao Mart Sweets & Bakers, Haider Pharmacy, Gondal Hospital, Motu Patlu Play Land, grocery stores, food outlets, salons, offices, and other businesses.

LDA Chief Town Planner I, Assad-uz-Zaman, supervised the operations carried out by the enforcement teams, assisted by the Police.

According to LDA officials, several notices were served on the owners of these buildings prior to the operations being carried out.

LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed the continuation of indiscriminate operations against encroachments, illegal commercial buildings and non-payment of commercialisation fees in housing schemes and LDA-controlled areas.
