QUETTA – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and senior federal ministers visited Quetta on Tuesday to meet the victims of a recent terrorist attack that targeted innocent civilians, including schoolchildren.

During their visit, PM, COAS and other were briefed by the Chief Minister of Balochistan and Commander Quetta Corps on the tragic incident, which claimed the lives of three children and two soldiers. The attack also left 53 individuals injured — 39 of them schoolchildren — with eight reported in critical condition.

Prime Minister Sharif and other officials expressed deep sorrow and solidarity with the victims and their families. “This is an unbearable loss,” the Prime Minister said while meeting with the wounded children in the hospital. “These young lives were targeted in an act of sheer brutality.”
