Pak Army Chief Hosts Saudi Military Commander To Discuss Training And Security

ISLAMABAD – Commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces Lieutenant General Fahad Bin Saud Al-Johani called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir of Pakistan Army, at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, ISPR said.

The high-level meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security, and avenues to elevate bilateral defense cooperation between the two nations.

Both military leaders reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to strengthening the long-standing and brotherly relations between the armed forces of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Expressing satisfaction over the robust defense collaboration, COAS highlighted the need for continued cooperation in training, capacity building, and intelligence sharing.

Lieutenant General Al-Johani praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Army and acknowledged Pakistan’s crucial role in fostering regional peace and stability. The visiting dignitary was also accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour upon arrival, marking the visit as a significant milestone in the defense partnership between the two countries.
