The Annual International Conference on Medical, Educational and Research in Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU) was presided over by Dr. Fizza Rafiq. President of Alumni. Workshops on various topics were held on Monday in the International Symposium organized by Fatima Jinnah Medical University and Fatima Jinnah Medical College Alumni Association of North America. The workshops were preceded by a grand function which was attended by all the guests from the Alumni Associations. Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal thanked all the guests and said that the services of Fatima Jinnah Medical College Alumni Association of North America in the rehabilitation of the victims in the flood-affected areas are unparalleled.
He further informed that more than 80 houses, a Community Center and a Dispensary have been constructed in Fatima Jinnah Kishani Village so far with the support of Fatima Jinnah Medical University and Fatima Jinnah Medical College Alumni Association of North America. He also thanked Dr. Asif Mehmood Jah, founder of Custom Healthcare Society, for his rehabilitation work in flood affected areas. He further informed that a record 43 Pre-Conference Workshops were organized in Fatima Jinnah Medical University this year, highlighting the latest aspects of medicine, education and research.
He said that this International Conference has been made successful in Colloboration with Fatima Jinnah Medical University and Fatima Jinnah Medical College Alumni Association of North America. In the coming days, experts from America and Canada will share with the participants about their educational services, experiences and research, which will prove to be very beneficial for teachers as well as students. On this occasion, President Fatima Jinnah Medical College Alumni Association of North America, Dr. Fizza Rafiq, said that FJMU is on the path of progress in educational, research and medical fields with great speed, for which we are extremely happy and proud.
