Sad to say, more than 63 people have been killed in yet another suicide bomb attack at a wedding hall in Afghanistan. Terrorism has once again demonstrated its tantrums in a merciless manner. Given the past records and going by the vicious circles of the terror menace having bombarded many parts of the world so far, there seems to be no end to terrorism. Against this scenario, strong political measures and well-planned strategies are required to tackle the terror outfits across the world.
Simultaneously, it has been reported that peace talks have been going on between the USA and the Taliban. Let such interesting things happen and go on as such. Any attempt at subverting the peace process should be stopped forthwith and nipped in the bud. America has been a great help in this direction and should be so till the peace returns to Afghanistan.
Unfortunately, there have been no strong condemnations of terror attacks by the international community as was there before. I still remember how the world had reacted to the terrible September 11 attacks in 2001. I as a college student in Tuticorin then had strongly written about attacks. There have been strong emotional reactions from people whenever bad incidents have occurred around.
The world community should wake up and must be on the alert for the possible terror attacks. Also, countries and leaders worldwide should be strong-minded in wording the terror condemnation, forcing such terror groups to rethink their possible plots and change their outlook on the world.
