Only public service to stay on, declares CM


Says policy of composite development to bring about prosperity for people

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said that negative politics has failed in the past and it is destined to meet fiasco in future as well.

“We believe in public service and the government is taking every possible step to serve the masses.”

The chief minister said that he has regularly been making visits to different cities and towns to ensure early resolution of public problems.

Usman Buzdar said the district development package worth Rs360 billion will help to resolve public problems as it has been designed in consultation with the parliamentarians.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was talking to parliamentarians including MNA Malik Farooq-e-Azam, MPAs – Ghazin Abbasi, Asif Majeed, Samiullah Chaudhry, Mian Shafi, Raees Nabeel and others who called on the chief minister in Circuit House in Bahawalpur.

They greeted the chief minister over PTI’s victory in PP-38 Sialkot by-poll and general elections in AJK.

Talking on the occasion, the chief minister pointed out that district development package has been devised keeping in view the public needs of every area individually.

“The policy of composite development will bring about prosperity for people”, he assured and added that problems of people of Bahawalpur will also be resolved.

Meanwhile, delegations of lawyers, PTI workers and people from different walks of life met with Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at circuit house in Bahawalpur and apprised him about their problems.

The CM assured them to resolve public issues at the earliest, adding that the Punjab government is committed to resolving the problems of the legal fraternity.

“The government has been assisting the bar councils by providing necessary financial assistance to them,” he maintained and said that he has close association with the legal community as he himself is a lawyer.

The CM also announced strengthening the party across the province, adding that the workers’ proposals are important for the government as they are the real identity and asset to the party.

Meanwhile in his message on International Youth Day, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that the youth have playing a pivotal role in the national development.

The CM said that the nation has pinned hopes on the youth as they are the future of the country and national development hinges on their very role.

“Keeping in view the significance of the youth role, the government has been utilising all out resources to empower them economically.

Youth empowerment is an important agenda as they have brought laurels home on every occasion, he continued.

While Arshad Nadeem and Talha Talib have set new examples for the youth, the government will continue to provide resources and opportunities to the youth to empower them for a beneficial role in society, concluded the CM.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar sought a report from RPO Gujranwala about the murder of man and injuries to his wife in an attack.

He directed the authorities to provide best treatment facilities to the injured woman. “No one will be allowed to take the law into its own hand, the CM added.

Meanwhile, CM Usman Buzdar expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the loss of lives in a road accident near Faisalabad and extended sympathies to the bereaved heirs. He also directed to provide best treatment facilities to the injured.
