Number of sacrificial animal increasing at Super Highway Cattle Market: Admin

Administrator Cattle Market, Muzaffar Hassan, said that the number of sacrificial animals at the Super Highway Cattle Market has been steadily increasing. The number of animals coming to the market from all over the country has been rapidly increasing day and night. As of Monday, more than 45,000 animals have reached the market and this number is increasing every hour and the consignment of animals includes cows, oxen, camels, domba and goats.

He pointed out that more than 300 CCTV cameras have been installed in the cattle market for security purpose and monitoring of the market. The management is providing drinking water and electricity free of cost and all arrangements have been made keeping in view the comfort of the people who come to buy sacrificial animals.

The market is being set up here for more than 20 years, but it is for the first time that the market has a food street for people who would now enjoy the delicious foods of high quality.

Chief Executive Officer of Metro Maintenance, Raja Najeeb said that more than 300 CCTV cameras including 10 dome cameras have been installed for the purpose of monitoring the market at every moment. The whole blocks of the market have been kept on constant watch. Even more cameras are being installed.

Spokesman Cattle Market, Khurram Jaffrani, said, “We want people not to face any kind of hassles and management is trying to provide everything possible at the market that they may need, and in this endeavor, we have full cooperation of law enforcement agencies.”
