Birth of Pakistan on eve of Shab-e-Qadr has a divine message: Speakers
Establishment of Pakistan on the eve of Shab-e-Qadr (27th Ramazan) shows there is a divine intervention behind the establishment of Pakistan and Allah’s special blessing for the country and that message is: Pakistan is here to stay and progress despite all odds and challenges.
Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) Dr Qibla Ayaz expressed tehse views while addressing as chief guest a ceremony organized by the Nazriya Pakistan Council (NPC) on the significance of the birth of Pakistan on the night of Shab-e-Qadr (Ramazan 27, 1366 A.H.).
The participants in the backdrop of the Poet of the East Allama Mohammad Iqbal’s 84th death anniversary (died on April 21, 1938) also highlighted the message of Iqbal and his contribution towards promoting the Idea of Khudi and the Two Nation Theory.
NPC Chairman Mian Muhammad Javed presided over the ceremony while among the speakers included Secretary CII Dr Ikramul Haq Yasin, Anjum Khaliq, Dr Farhat Abbas, Naseem-e-Sehr, Dr Kashif Irfan, Nusrat Masood, Arshad Chahal, Nasir Mengal and Nusrat Nayab.
Dr Qibla Ayaz said since the birth of Pakistan has a divine blessing, Pakistan assumed special importance not only in the region but also on the international front. These are the clear signs and signals that Pakistan will play a leadership role in the days to come.
Even enemies and opponents of Pakistan during the Movement of Pakistan accepted Pakistan was to come into being, said Dr Qibla Ayaz.
He said since we have a homeland of our own, it is now the responsibility of every Pakistan to work for the progress of the county and make it a great nation.
Mian Javed said the world has acknowledged Pakistan’s strategic importance. It is now up to us to assert that role and steer the ship of the country to clearer waters.
On the anniversary of the country, we should bow our heads in humility and gratitude and promise to ourselves that we would work with utmost devotion and commitment to make the country stronger, said Mian Javed.
Dr Ikramul Haq said Allama Iqbal re-enkindled in the Muslims of the united India flame of freedom and they on the call of the great poet got united to achieve their separate homeland where they could live according to the teachings of Islam and protect their rights.
