KARACHI – Pakistan’s cement market witnessed minor yet noticeable fluctuations as retail prices show mixed trends across several regions.
In last week of October, the average price of cement bag in northern cities slipped slightly to Rs1,364, a 0.35% decline from the previous week’s Rs. 1,369. Meanwhile, southern cities maintained stable pricing, with the average remaining at Rs. 1,441 per bag.

Southern cities presented mixed dynamics with Karachi at Rs. 1,369, Hyderabad Rs. 1,427, Sukkur Rs. 1,500, Larkana Rs. 1,407, Quetta Rs. 1,500, and Khuzdar Rs. 1,443.
Market analysts note that while northern cities experienced a slight drop, southern regions have seen no change, reflecting a steady demand-supply balance.
