The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of the Sindh police announced on Thursday that they had apprehended a suspect allegedly involved in the murder of a police constable.The arrested individual, identified as Faulad Gadani, son of Wahid Buksh Gadani, was taken into custody during a raid conducted based on a tip-off in the Saeedabad area. CTD official Chaudhry Safdar provided details, stating that the suspect, originally from Sukkar, was the nephew of the infamous criminal Sadiq Gadani.
He revealed that during the initial interrogation, Faulad admitted to his involvement in the killing of police constable Akbar Gadani. The motive behind the murder was cited as personal enmity.
Following the crime, Faulad went into hiding, while his brother was arrested and subsequently sentenced to 25 years in prison by the court.
