National Institute of Maritime Affairs organized an interactive webinar on Pakistan Navy Day via Zoom to pay homage to the 1965 war heroes.
Vice Admiral (Retd) Abdul Aleem HI(M), Director General NIMA welcomed all the worthy speakers and participants in the webinar and highlighted the significance of Navy Day for Pakistan. Cdre (Retd) Babar Bilal Haider SI(M), Director, NIMA Islamabad moderated the session.
Vice Admiral (Retd) Jawaid Iqbal HI(M) S.BT, 1965 war veteran, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered a speech on the subject. Dr. Cdre (Retd), Anjum Sarfaraz, Senior Research Fellow at NIMA enlightened the audience about the importance of Pakistan Navy Day.
Members from academia, the maritime sector, universities, government departments, the military and think tanks actively participated in the webinar.
In the end, Vice Admiral (Retd) Abdul Aleem HI(M), Director General NIMA thanked the guests, participants, and the entire panel for sparing their valuable time for NIMA’s efforts to commemorate the 1965 war heroes.
