Three persons, all belonging to the same family, among them two minors, drowned in river Indus near Attock Kurd bridge in the limits of Hazro Police station on Monday.
Police and rescue 1122 sources said that 38 years old Yasir Nawaz- belongs to Jatial village Hazro along with his 9 years old Saim Nawaaz and 10 years old niece Eshal Fatima went for picnicking at river Indus where Eshal Fatima starts drowning and when Yasir Came to rescue her also loses control in deep water and drowned.
Taking his father in distress, Saim also went into deep waters to save his father but could not control due to deep water and also drowned. Later local volunteers along with rescue 1122 divers retrieve the bodies and shift them to THQ hospital. Pall of gloom spread in the area when the bodies of three persons belonging to the same family among them father and his young son reached their native town. Later their bodies were buried while moving scenes were also observed on this occasion.
