Under khidmat Apki Dhehleez Par Program initiated by the Punjab government, the Lahore Waste Management Company continued its cleanliness operation regarding sanitation week for fourth day on Sunday.
Following the directions by the LWMC Chairman and CEO, the department has made special cleanliness services across the city.
In connection with the sanitation week, the LWMC lifted more than 26,000 tons of solid waste from the city till now.
CEO LWMC stated that Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) is doing its best to make this operation successful and to ensure timely lifting of waste.
In this regard Special cleanliness arrangements were made around all the Entry and Exit points of the city.
CEO LWMC stated that the department is working effectively and using all its resources to provide exceptional cleanliness services to every nook and corner of the city.
He also said that department is ensuring timely lifting of solid waste from the city to clear the back log as well as the daily waste whereas citizens should also make sure they dispose of their waste properly instead of littering, as without their cooperation department cannot achieve the objective of Clean Lahore.
Furthermore, Head of Communication Department said that LWMC has made extraordinary arrangements regarding sanitation week.
