LAHORE – The high-profile harassment case involving actress Momina Iqbal, and PML-N lawmaker Saqib Chaddar continues to make headlines and now the actress approached Police Station Chuhang to seek registration of criminal case after alleging months of threats, blackmail, and digital exploitation.
According to the detailed application submitted to the Station House Officer, Ehd-e-Wafa star along with her legal team, arrived at Thana Chuhang after alleged instructions from National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). However, the complaint claims that police officials initially refused to formally accept the application.
In a written complaint, Momina Iqbal alleges that man identified as Saqib Chaddar began contacting her in 2022 with a marriage proposal. The relationship reportedly deteriorated after she discovered, through alleged threats from his wife, that he was already married.
The actress said she ended contact in 2022–2023, but claims the accused became increasingly hostile afterward. The complaint includes disturbing allegations that the accused sent a threatening message in June 2023, like “Even your dead body will not be found.”

It further alleges that in December 2024, he wrote on Pearl Continental Hotel Lahore letterhead: “You are liable to be killed if you do not stay away from me.”
These messages, according to the application, were part of a continuing pattern of intimidation.
One of the most serious claims involves a WhatsApp video allegedly sent on 13 May 2026. The actress stated the video contained both real images and AI-generated manipulated content intended to blackmail her and damage her reputation.
The complaint also alleges the same content was sent to her sister and used as part of an intimidation campaign.
The application claims the accused contacted and harassed the actress’s manager multiple times via calls and Instagram. She also accused ruling party lawmaker of sending inappropriate messages through business accounts.
Attempted repeated contact under different pretexts, including project offers, posted allegedly offensive comments on the manager’s social media and continued calling at multiple times during the day and night. It further alleges that even associates and friends of the manager were contacted to obtain personal contact details.
The complaint also claims that after the harassment escalated, a retaliatory false case was registered against the actress’s manager in Chiniot (Case No. 19/26), allegedly as revenge. It further alleges that the accused is using political influence and party affiliation to pressure the complainant and interfere in her personal life and upcoming marriage.
The application requests registration of an FIR, arrest of the accused Saqib Chaudhry, investigation of alleged co-accused, including his wife, protection for the actress and her family and legal action for alleged blackmail, threats, and cyber harassment.
According to the complainant’s legal team, they were directed to approach police after NCCIA guidance, but claim that the complaint was initially not formally accepted at the station.
