LAHORE – Despite previous crackdowns, illegal housing schemes continue to mushroom in Faisalabad. Authorities now intensified action, targeting colonies including Model City and Al-Buraq Valley, demolishing unauthorized structures and sealing sales offices.
Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) launched a sweeping crackdown on illegal housing projects, tearing down structures and sealing sales offices of five unapproved colonies along Narwala Road, Canal Road, and Chak No. 208-RB.
Under the watchful eye of Director of Town Planning Asma Mohsin, and spearheaded by Estate Officer Aneeb Aslam Randhawa, the FDA enforcement team took decisive action against developments blatantly flouting planning regulations.
Among targeted colonies were Model City-I Extension Block, Model City Executive Block, and Noor Executive Block at Chak No. 208-RB, Al-Buraq Valley at Chak No. 214-JB, and Al-Noor City at Chak No. 218-JB.
Authorities demolished boundary walls, gates, and other illegal structures, while shutting down sales offices involved in unauthorized deals.
A stern warning was issued to developers: stop illegal activities immediately, or face criminal proceedings. The FDA has vowed to continue its strict enforcement, signaling zero tolerance for violations of land-use and planning laws.
