Sindh Minister for Anti-Corruption Jam Ikramullah Dharejo on Tuesday ordered an inquiry into torture on ASI Abdul Rahman Abro of Police Station Gulistan-e-Jauhar. He has taken notice of the video going viral in which two constables of Anti-Corruption were torturing the ASI. On the directives of the minister, competent authorities have appointed Additional Director Anti-Corruption Karachi Rafiq Ahmed Memon as an Inquiry Officer. The inquiry report will be completed within 15 days and submitted to the relevant authorities. Meanwhile in a statement issued Minister for Anti-Corruption Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has said “Our mission is to take action against corruption while staying within the purview of the law. No one will be allowed to take the law into his hands.”
