MG HS, the famous stylish crossover become more expensive along with several other cars in Pakistan as the government approved new withholding tax on all vehicles.
The new withholding tax on locally assembled cars saw uptick as the government is taking extreme measures to boost revenue. With the latest amendments, the registration charges will now be calculated based on invoice price of the car and not as per the engine capacity.
MG Pakistan has announced the increased prices for the MG HS following the imposition of this tax.

Pakistani government also ended 50percent concession from HEV cars. Now, HEV owners will have to pay the full 100% custom duty on their HEV vehicles, and no exemption will be provided.
