Massive search operations over corruption in recruitment of police sub-inspectors in IIOJK

In what vindictive of rising corruption in India under Modi, the Central Bureau of Investigation) (CBI) on Tuesday launched a large-scale crackdown operation in connection with massive irregularities in the recruitment process of sub-inspectors in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The search operations were conducted at 33 locations, including the premises of Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board chairman Khalid Jahangir.

The premises of JKSSB Controller of Examinations Ashok Kumar are also being searched.

The searches are spread across Jammu, Srinagar; Karnal, Mahendergarh, Rewari in Haryana; Gandhinagar in Gujarat; Delhi; Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and Bengaluru in Karnataka.

This is the second round of searches conducted by the CBI in connection with its probe into the irregularities.

After conducting raids on August 5, the CBI had recovered incriminating documents, devices, answer sheets, applications forms and files which were very crucial to the case.

The CBI officials said that the recovered evidences will nail the guilt of the accused.—KMS
