Man shot dead over old enmity

A man was shot and killed over old enmity by his rivals. According to the police, in village Gakharwali, in the limits of the Qila Kallerwala police station, on Sunday evening five motor cyclists, Zohaib alias Zebi, Suhaib, Ansar and their two unidentified accomplices opened firing at Munawar Hussain and killed him at the spot.

The accused persons managed to flee from the spot while doing firing in the air. It is told that the accused had old enmity with the deceased. The police have registered a case against accused and started investigations.

Meanwhile three persons were arrested after hundreds of kites were recovered from them. According to the police, on late Sunday evening a car was stopped during routine checking at Sialkot-Daska road, in the limits of the Hajipura police station, and during the search 650 kites.
