Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Malakand on Thursday declared the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual Examinations 2026, with Class 10 students posting an overall pass percentage of 92.67%, while 77.37% of Class 9 candidates successfully cleared the exams.
The results for SSC Part-II (Class 10) were officially announced at 2:00pm on August 6, 2026, bringing an end to weeks of anticipation among thousands of students across Malakand Division.
According to official figures, 60,162 students appeared in the SSC-I (Class 9) examinations, of whom 46,549 passed, resulting in an overall success rate of 77.37%. The Science Group outperformed the Arts stream with a 77.82% pass percentage, compared to 71.40% in the Arts Group.
For SSC-II (Class 10), 56,022 candidates appeared in the annual examinations, while 51,916 qualified, pushing the overall pass percentage to 92.67%. The Science Group recorded a 93.11% pass rate, whereas the Arts Group achieved 87.95%, reflecting strong academic performance across both streams.
Science Group Merit Positions
In the Science Group, Sawera Gul of Government Girls High School, Tangi, Lower Dir, secured the overall first position by scoring 1,174 marks.
The second position was claimed by Tooba Iman of SPS College Batkhela Campus, who obtained 1,162 marks.
The third position was shared by Owais Ahmad of Government High School, Lower Dir, and Talha Dawood of the Higher Secondary School, University of Malakand, Chakdara, with both candidates securing 1,161 marks.
Arts Group Top Performers
Among Arts Group students, Fatima Zahra of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Totakan, Malakand, topped the board by securing 1,105 marks.
Bilqees Ghani from Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kambar, Lower Dir, earned the second position with 1,101 marks.
The third position went to Hafsa Shah, a private candidate from Lower Dir, who scored 1,091 marks.
Result Gazette and SMS Service
BISE Malakand has also made the SSC Part-II Result Gazette 2026 available in PDF format, enabling students, schools and educational institutions to review detailed results, including roll number-wise and institution-wise performance.
Students can also check their results through the board’s SMS service by typing BMK, followed by a space and their roll number, and sending the message to 8583.
The board congratulated all successful candidates, particularly the position holders, and expressed hope that they would continue to excel in their future academic pursuits.
