ISLAMABAD – The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment in Pakistan has issued an alert for the citizens seeking to apply for the Canada visa in 2025.
The advisory is based on the warning issued by the Canadian Immigration and Citizenship department.
In a post on Facebook, the Bureau wrote: “5 years entry ban on submission of fake documents for Canadian visa”.
The Canadian department said thousands of applications are rejected each month due to immigration fraud.
“Those that get caught submitting fake and fraudulent documents in their Canadian visa application are legally banned from entering or remaining in Canada for at least 5 years,” it said while urging applicants to provide genuine documents always.
False documents or information in your application
It is considered fraud to submit either false or altered documents, such as
passports and travel documents
visas, exit and entry stamps
language results
proof of employment or job offers
letters of acceptance from learning institutions, tuition receipts and transcripts
diplomas, degrees and apprenticeship or trade papers
proof of relationship, including certificates of birth, adoption, marriage, final divorce, annulment, separation, death or custodianship
police certificates or court documents

What Can be Consequences?
If the applicant, his/her representative or interpreter send false documents or information, the Canada visa application will be rejected. The IRCC will further warn that “you could be banned from Canada for at least 5 years”.
