Mainly dry weather expected

Islamabad—Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Wednesday forecast mainly dry weather in most parts of the country during next 24 hours. However, rain-thunderstorm with dust raising wind is expected at isolated places in Quetta, Makran, Kalat, Zhob divisions and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
A fresh western disturbance was expected to approach Balochistan Wednesday and likely to grip upper part of the country on Thursday, and likely to persist till Saturday. Highest maximum temperatures recorded during last 24 hours were: Mithi, Shaheed Benazirabad and Chhor 38øC, and Badin, Turbat, Lasbella and Hyderabad 37øC.
Meanwhile, Karachi Met Office forecast fair/partly weather for Karachi during the next 24 hours. An official of the Met Office said here that the maximum temperature is expected to remain between 34 to 36 degrees Centigrade and minimum between 21 to 23 degrees centigrade during the period.
The minimum temperature recorded on Wednesday was 20.5 degrees centigrade and maximum was 35.5 degrees centigrade. Humidity was 24 per cent.—APP
