LWMC’s zero waste operation continues in City

Lahore Waste Management Company is conducting zero waste operation in the city before Eid-ul-Adha. In this regard, special cleanliness activities are being executed in all 9 towns of the city. Workforce of more than 9000 workers and more than 500 fleet is participating in cleanliness operation. Achieving the Zero Waste Target, which will be phased out in the town before Eid, will further strengthen the Eid Sanitation Plan. During the Zero Waste Campaign 33,052 tons of waste has been collected from the city.

3082 tons has been lifted from Gulberg Town, 3237 tons from Data Ganj Bakhsh Town, 5890 tons from Allama Iqbal Town, 4344 Tons from Samanabad Town, 2760 Tons from Aziz Bhatti Town, 3388 Tons from Nishtar Town, 1911 tons from Ravi Town, 3159 tons from Shalimar Town and 2328 tons from Wagha Town.
