KARACHI – Pakistan’s leading actor, producer, and filmmaker Humayun Saeed has finally responded to social media trolling targeting him for repeatedly playing lead roles in films and television.

In a recent interview, the Love Guru star candidly addressed the frequent criticism he faces online. When asked why he is often the subject of online backlash, Humayun said that many people target him for continuing to portray main or hero characters even after decades in the industry.

“I’ve been playing the hero for years and I continue to do so — and honestly, I don’t care what people say,” he said with a smile.

Humayun clarified that casting decisions in his productions are always made based on the actors’ talent and suitability for the role. “Fahad Mustafa and Hamza Ali Abbasi have also starred in my films,” he noted, brushing off claims that he always reserves the lead roles for himself.

He added that he focuses on his work and doesn’t let negative comments affect him.
