A meeting of the leaders of Pakistan Restaurant Unity, Chairman Amir Rafique Qureshi said that the restaurant sector has already reached the brink of closure, the implementation of lockdown will make millions of people unemployed.

According to details, an emergency meeting of Pakistan Restaurants Unity Association was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Amir Rafique Qureshi at Head Office Gulberg. Raza Ahmed, Omar Elahi, Javed Siddique, Sajid Sheikh and others attended the meeting.

Chairman Amir Rafique Qureshi said that restaurants were being discriminated against and if these conditions continued then the entire industry would be shut down.

Aamir Rafique Qureshi while questioning the government said that why Corona only comes in restaurants? Why not in public transport and markets? When will the economic murder of indoor dining restaurants finally stop? He said that if there was a need to protest, they would also protest vigorously.

It should be noted that the Punjab government has decided to close markets and bazaars in the evening. Milk, yogurt shops, medical stores and ovens will be exempted from the ban.

Weddings in wedding halls and marquees will be banned for 2 weeks. Shrines and cinema halls have also been closed for two weeks.

Offices will be allowed to work with 50% staff and 50% staff will work from home. In cities with a positive rate of more than 5% of corona tests, these decisions will apply from Sunday and the restrictions will remain in effect for the next two weeks.

The Department of Primary and Secondary Health will issue a formal notification.
