LCCI, NIU will jointly fight against unemployment

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between NUR International University and Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry at LCCI. MoU signed by Mr. Salem Rehman (Vice Channel-lor NIU) and Mr. Kashif Anwar (President LCCI).

The signing ceremony was held at the LCCI, which was attended by the senior administration of both institutions. Mr. Salem Rehman, NIU VC ap-preciated Mr. Kashif Anwar (President LCCI) for his willingness to support education. Mr. Salem Rehman briefly introduced the NUR-FMS Group including NUR International University (NIU), Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine &Dentistry(FMHCMD), Saida Waheed College of Nursing(SWCON) and Allied Institue of Health Sciences(IAHS). He said that we are offering mar-ket-oriented degrees. After this MOU, we are invit-ing LCCI members to upgrade their skills by opting for various business management degrees with 20% discount on tution fee on all programs. He also talked about Micro-Credentials and short courses that NUR International University is offering to students as well as mid-career professionals.

Mr. Kashif Anwar, President LCCI appreciated Mr. Salem Rehman (NIU VC) for his efforts to bring both institutions on a similar page. He said that the current economic conditions of Pakistan as well as inflation have made it tough for the common man to earn bread and butter for his family. So education has become a necessity of the day. Moreover, he added that job placement has become very important now-a-days. LCCI and NIU jointly work and exchange job applications to fight against unemployment.
