Sindh Home and Law Minister, Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar, chaired a crucial meeting to enhance traffic management and ensure the provision of essential services during the monsoon in NashehroFeroz and Moro. The meeting focused on the implementation of a Rain Emergency Plan. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of NashehroFeroz, local elected representatives, and relevant police officials.
The Deputy Commissioner provided a briefing on recent and expected rainfall and the measures taken in response. Minister Lanjar instructed that the drainage systems across the city and district, including major roads, chokepoints, and low-lying areas, should be further improved. Relevant departments and stakeholders must be involved to ensure effective drainage management.
