According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), moist currents are penetrating upper parts of Pakistan. A westerly wave also prevails over northern parts of the country.

Under these conditions, hot and humid weather is expected in most districts of the province on Tuesday night and Wednesday. However, partly cloudy weather with rain-wind/thundershowers is likely at in Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Attock, Narowal, Sialkot, Lahore, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, Gujranwala and Gujrat.
Heavy downpours may also occur at isolated places during the period.
Downpours may cause Urban flooding in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Gujrat.
Expected Temperatures
Daytime temperatures in Lahore are expected to remain between 36°C and 38°C on Wednesday and Thursday.

During the last 24 hours, hot and humid weather prevailed over most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershowers occurred in Islamabad, Potohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
