According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a strong westerly wave prevails over most parts of Pakistan, and is likely to persist in the upper/central parts till tomorrow.

Under these conditions, Intermittent rains and gusty winds with isolated heavy falls and hailstorms are predicted in Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sargodha, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Khushab, Noorpur Thal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Pakpattan, Okara, Kasur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Taunsa Sharif, Bhakkar, Layyah, Multan, Kot Addu, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Bahawalnagar, and Rahim Yar Khan on Friday evening and night, as well as on Saturday.
Impacts:
Significant rains may cause landslides in Murree and Galiyat. Downpour may also cause flash floods in the hill torrents of Dera Ghazi Khan.
Gusty winds and hailstorms may damage weak structures such as electric poles, billboards, and solar panels. Windstorms and hailstorms may damage standing crops.
Temperatures:
Lahore’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 31°C and 33°C on Saturday and between 32°C and 34°C on Sunday.

Widespread rain-wind/thunderstorms occurred in Punjab during the last 24 hours. Heavy falls and hailstorms were also observed at a few places.

Bahawalnagar remained the hottest place in Punjab, with a maximum temperature of 38°C. The maximum temperature in Okara, Kasur and Sahiwal was recorded at 35°C.
In Lahore, the maximum temperature was recorded at 33°C. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded at 67%.
