According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), weak monsoon currents are penetrating upper and central parts ofPakistan. A shallow trough of westerly wave is also affecting northern parts of the country.

Under these conditions, mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of Punjab on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.
However, isolated rain-wind/thundershowers are expected in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura, Khushab, Mianwali, Sahiwal, Layyah, Bhakkar, D.G. Khan, Rajanpur, Multan, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan, with occasional breaks.
Temperatures Outlook
Lahore’s daytime temperatures are expected to remain between 35°C and 37°C on Saturday and Sunday.
