Lahore, Punjab Weather: Moderate to dense fog to prevail in plains

Moderate to dense fog will likely prevail in Lahore and parts of Punjab on Friday night and the next two days.

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in Lahore and most parts of Punjab. Freezing weather is expected in Murree and Galiyat.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.

Under these conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in Lahore and most districts of the province on Friday night and the next two days. Dry and freezing weather is expected in Murree and Galiyat. Moderate to dense fog is likely to develop over Sialkot, Narowal, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, Kasur, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Faisalabad, Jhang, Shorkot, Multan, Kot Addu, Bahawalnagar, Khanpur, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan.

Lahore’s minimum temperature will likely remain between 07°C and 09°C on Saturday, between 06°C and 08°C on Sunday, and between 05°C and 07°C on Monday.

Meanwhile, mainly cold and dry weather prevailed in Lahore and most districts of the province during the last 24 hours. Freezing weather prevailed in Murree and Galiyat. Fog prevailed in Lahore and the plains of Punjab.

Murree remained the coldest place in the province, where the temperature dropped to the freezing point (0°C). Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 61 per cent.

In Lahore, the minimum temperature was recorded at 08°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 74 per cent.
