KW&SB cracks down on water thieves: Nasir

Acting on the orders of Minster Local Government & Chairman KW&SB Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, the Anti-Theft Cell KW&WB has cracked down on the water thieves and ended the network of water theft through a 33 Inch diameter line during the operation against the water mafia in Mochko police station.

The operation was headed by In-charge Anti Theft Cell Tabish Raza & Executive Engineer HTM Izhar Hashmi, The incharge anti theft cell said that the water mafia used to break the 33 inch diameter line, make a lake like pit, collect water in it and steal water by tankers and sale it at high prices in different areas of the city.

He said that the case of theft has been registered against the accused in the relevant police stations under the new law, On this occasion, CEO KW&SB Engineer Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed said that the accused involved in water theft do not deserve any relief, While strict legal action will be taken against the accused to make them guilty, He said that the scope of the operation against those who steal water from the part of the citizens should be widened.
