University of Karachi (KU) provided unsatisfied entrance test candidates with their answer sheets and answer keys at the KU Chinese Teachers Memorial Auditorium. This initiative aimed to address concerns and ensure transparency in the evaluation process. Professor Dr. Saima Akhtar, the in-charge of KU’s Directorate of Admissions, explained that 7,365 candidates had participated in the entrance tests for various programs, including BS, Pharm-D Morning and Evening, Doctor of Physical Therapy, BE, and BEd (Hons). Of these, 79 candidates submitted applications expressing dissatisfaction with their results. Despite the review, all results remained unchanged. The process was overseen by Professor Dr. Imran Ahmed Siddiqui, Convener of Karachi University Assessment Testing Service, alongside other faculty members: Dr. Saima Akhtar, Professor Dr. Anila Amber Malik, Dr. Nadeem Mahmood, and Dr. Syed Zafar Hussain. During the session, candidates and their parents or guardians were given the opportunity to compare their responses with the correct answers as per the answer keys. This step was widely appreciated by the candidates and their families, who commended the university’s efforts to promote transparency in the testing process.
