At least six visitors have drowned after their boat capsized near Ibrahim Hyderi, Karachi, while en route to attend a fair at Bundle Island, local fishermen reported. According to Yunus Khaskheli, a leader of the local fishing community, the boat overturned after venturing into deep waters. Efforts by local divers are underway as they search for the missing passengers. Rescue operations are ongoing, with authorities and local teams working together to locate and recover the victims. This tragic incident comes less than a year after a similar boat disaster. On March 5, a fishing boat carrying around 50 fishermen capsized in the Arabian Sea near Thatta. The boat sank in the Hajamro Creek area, located between Karachi and Thatta, according to the Fisher Folk Forum.
