ISLAMABAD – An employee of the KRL Hospital in Islamabad died after falling from the third floor of the medical facility on Monday.
The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Karachi Company police station. The deceased, identified as Umar Mukhtar, was working as a laboratory technician at KRL Hospital.
He had reportedly arrived for duty in the morning and later went to the third floor of the hospital, where he allegedly jumped.
Police said Umar Mukhtar died on the spot after the fall. Initial details suggest that the 48-year-old was a father of five children.
Authorities added that the exact cause of the incident has not yet been determined, and investigations are currently underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death.
