KKF, CRPD hold seminar on peace & democracy


A seminar on peace and democracy was arranged at District Press Club Wana of Lower Waziristan,

In which all the political parties and business community apart from lawyers and journalists participated in large numbers.

Mehran Wazir, Executive Director of Khifmat Khalq Foundation (KKF) and Project Director of Center for Regional Policy and Dialogue (CRPD) were also present in the Study Circle Seminar on Peace and Democracy.

In the seminar arranged regarding peace and democracy, Anwar Khalwak from ANP, Ayaz Wazir, Amanullah Wazir from PPP, Saifur Rahman Wazir from JI, Tariq Wazir from NDM, Maulana Zeenatullah from PTM. Represented,

On behalf of lawyers, Ajmal Wazir Advocate, Taj Muhammad Wazir from business community, asmatullah from Councilor alliance, Naik Muhammad from Journalists and Owais Wazir from Wana Welfare Association expressed their views.

The participants in the seminar had a lively discussion on maintaining peace and order in the region and the supremacy of democracy, and said that the role of all political parties in Wana has been very positive regarding peace and stability, which is commendable, their positive role and democratization have made it possible to establish peace in the area to a large extent.

Executive Director Mehran Wazir said that earlier we used to conduct 12 programs annually in this regard.

Now, next year, it will be expanded to 14 programs

So that people are aware about the democratic system.
