K-Electric has affirmed its commitment to ensuring uninterrupted power supply during the 2024 General Elections in Pakistan. As per directives from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), polling stations and related offices will be exempt from load shedding from February 7th to February 9th, encompassing the entirety of the electoral process. To oversee the smooth provision of electricity, a dedicated Power Monitoring Cell has been established within K-Electric. This cell will maintain vigilant oversight to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of power throughout the electoral period.
Additionally, K-Electric is actively coordinating with relevant stakeholders, including the ECP, local government, and law enforcement authorities, to provide maximum support and assistance. Spokesperson for K-Electric affirmed, “We are fully committed to facilitating a seamless electoral process.”
