Governor Sindh coordinates election security with top officials

In a concerted effort to ensure secure and orderly elections, Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori conducted a crucial telephone discussion with key security personnel, including the Chief Secretary, Director General Rangers, Inspector General Sindh, and Commissioner Karachi.

The focus of the conversation was on the meticulous planning of arrangements for the upcoming elections and addressing security concerns. During the call, both the Inspector General and Chief Secretary provided detailed briefings to Governor Sindh regarding the administrative and security measures being implemented.

Additionally, the Director General Rangers furnished insights into the province-wide security plan. Governor Sindh underscored the imperative of conducting peaceful elections, spanning from Karachi to Kashmore, and emphasized the unequivocal enforcement of the Election Commission’s code of conduct. He appealed to all political and religious entities to demonstrate tolerance and responsibility throughout the electoral process.

Furthermore, Governor Sindh urged the police and administrative authorities to uphold impartiality and ensure uniform compliance with the law and constitution across all political factions. The meeting concluded with a commitment from all stakeholders to uphold law and order and ensure a secure environment for voters and polling stations during the electoral proceedings.
