In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, has said Kashmiris are engaged in a peaceful struggle for the resolution of the long-pending Kashmir dispute.
Professor Abdul Ghani Butt addressing gatherings in different areas of Badgam including Muqhama, Ratsunna and Snoor Kalipora said that Pakistan and India should hold dialogue to resolve their all outstanding issues including the Kashmir dispute.
He said the Kashmiri people want cordial relations between Pakistan and India for ensuring peace and prosperity in the region. He said to achieve this objective, all disputes, particularly the Kashmir conflict, must be resolved through a sustained and result-oriented dialogue process.
Senior APHC leader maintained that geo-political situation is changing not only in the region but in the whole world which can be dangerous too for the smaller and poor countries. “So to get a sustained peace in the region and not to get bullied by the supper-powers Pakistan and India have to sit across a table and resolve all outstanding issues particularly the dispute of Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.—KMS
