Karachi Mayor inaugurates football stadium

To provide sports facilities at local level, Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Wednesday inaugurated football stadium in Manghopir area of the metropolis.Former MNA Shahida Rahmani, Town Chairman Nawaz Brohi, Mayor Karachi’s Representative for Political Affairs Karamullah Waqasi, President District Central Dil Muhammad and others were also present on this occasion.

Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that the magnificent football ground had been built in Manghopir with the support of the Sindh government. We are also working to promote sports activities in Malir, he addedWahab said: “We will soon inaugurate 22 roads in the industrial area of the SITE to provide facilities to the workers, industrialists and investors working in the industrial area.

Mayor Karachi said that we are proud of the soldiers of Pakistan Army and pay homage to all the martyrs of September 6.

Yesterday a champion came and was saying that we have given a lot to the people of Karachi, we respect Mian Nawaz Sharif, however, I will tell the PML-N leadership that sending these un guided missiles will damage relations.

He said that according to the requirement of the prevailing local government law, he had decided to contest the elections from three UCs, including Gizri, Ibrahim Hydari and Mauripur.
